SERVPRO Bedford Park/Burbank CSR Rick Gauger and Bridgeview Chamber President Vic Portillo take a break from unloading another van load of donations.

We're getting close to the time of year where we all make "new Years' Resolutions", where we plan to get healthier, contribute more, and generally be a better person.  And in many cases, it's a good intention that doesn't always come to fruition.

Here at SERVPRO Bedford Park/Burbank, we aim to help the community every day, whether it's helping a homeowner with a water or fire loss, working with the local chambers in collecting donations that will aid a segment of the area, or donating time and efforts to help out a local cause.

Recently, SERVPRO CSR Rick Gauger (also a Vice President of the Bridgeview Chamber) helped collect donations for the Chamber's annual Food & Toy Drive.  Several van loads of non-perishable food and unwrapped toys were collected and distributed to local churches, missions, and other sites to then in turn be dispersed to the needy.  It's Rick's third year performing such a feat, and each year it gets better and better.
